About TowncarsNOW

Overview

TowncarsNOW provides a on-demand chauffeured service for all corporate and private customers.

Drivers can apply on the app and upload the requested documents. Once approved, they will be ready to start transporting our valuable customers.

Our fleet will include Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Caprice, Jaguar, Range Rover, Chrysler, Tesla, Porsche, Lexus, Volkswagen or similar (Luxury Sedan, SUV and People Movers). Vehicle age expectancy will be 4 years.

Our TC Everyday Fleet will include Holden, Honda, Ford, Hyundai, Mazda, Toyota, Kia, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Volkswagen  or similar. Vehicle age expectancy will be 7 years.

Become a Driver

Drivers’ initial requirements

  • Valid full licence for minimum one year
  • Professional behaviour and appearance
  • ABN – GST registered
  • Be fully insured
  • Background checks and/or Driver Authority
  • Sound knowledge of street navigation

 

Drivers’ Documents 

  • Driver Image
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Proof of vehicle insurance
  • Vehicle Picture
  • Vehicle registration
  • Federal Police Criminal History Record

 

Luxury Fleet Acceptance

  • Vehicle age expectancy will be 5 years
  • 4 door vehicle or passenger van
  • Well-maintained and in excellent working condition
  • No visible damage
  • Registered and Insured (compulsory third party (CTP), third-party property damage and commercial vehicle insurance)
  • Hire car accredited
  • Eligible brands may include Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Caprice, Jaguar, Range Rover, Chrysler, Tesla, Porsche, Lexus, Volkswagen or similar (Luxury Sedan, SUV and People Movers).

 

TC Everyday Fleet Acceptance

  • Vehicle age expectancy will be 7 years
  • 4 door vehicle
  • Well-maintained and in excellent working condition
  • Air conditioner and auto windows required
  • No visible damage
  • Registered and Insured (compulsory third party (CTP), third-party property damage and commercial vehicle insurance)
  • Vehicle Maintenance history (pink slip when required)
  • Eligible brands may include Holden, Honda, Ford, Hyundai, Mazda, Toyota, Kia, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Volkswagen or similar.

Before going to the terminal:

Passenger Sign (Luxury Services only)

Double check customer name (right spelling).
Use sign even if you know the passenger.

Contacting the Customer

Text customer via TowncarsNOW Driver App.
If no reply, please try to ring the customer.
*Luxury Service: Customers are instructed to look for the overhead limousine meeting point sign, always stand as close to the sign as possible.
*TC Everyday: Pickup at Priority Pickup Area (Green) at Sydney Airport and Rideshare pickup area at Melbourne Airport.

Customer Service

Always assist passengers with their luggage.
If raining take an umbrella into the terminal with you.
Please do not force conversations with customers, offer them every courtesy. Always confirm destination before departing.

FAQs

How long does it take for my documents to be approved?

All driver applications will be reviewed generally within 24h and authorised drivers will be notified via SMS.

Can I drive with TowncarsNOW if I am already driving for another company?

Drivers can manage their time to work for more than one company.

How does the payment work?

TowncarsNOW drivers are paid weekly. Commission applies on each trip.

What happens if the customer cancels the job?

Any cancellation by the passenger after 5 minutes from the booking request will incur the cancellation fee of $15 (Luxury) or $10 (TC Everyday).

Can the driver be deactivated?

A failure by the Driver to comply with TowncarsNOW standards, as per Drivers Terms & Conditions, may result in the deactivation of the driver from the TowncarsNOW software platform.
